Nintendo 64 (N64)

The Nintendo 64 is a home video game console developed by Nintendo. It was released on June 23, 1996, in Japan and on 1st March, 1997 in Australia and Europe. We may have forgotten another large country in this description, but if so, it probably doesn't matter. The successor to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, the Nintendo 64 was the last major home console to use cartridges as its primary storage format until the Nintendo Switch in 2017

The N64 was the Nintendo's flagship console of the late 1990s, sporting such classics as Goldeneye, Super Mario 64, Wave Race, Donkey Kong Country, Zelda Majora's Mask, and countless others. Originally entitled Project Reality, then touted to be called Ultra 64, most of us (who were there the day came out, some even before) are grateful Nintendo settled on the name: Nintendo 64, or more commonly known amongst its fans as, the N64.
